Leo Carillo Campout

We are planning a camping trip to Leo Carrillo for this September 2-4th (Thurs- Sat), Labor day weekend. You can camp Thursday and Friday or just Friday night- whatever works for your family (or just show up for the beach on Saturday!). Everyone is going to reserve their own family's site- max per site: 8- or make arrangements with other families to share a site (the second car has to pay to park- I think $5)

Mark your calendar for this Monday March 1 at 8:00 AM to make your reservations (see link below- this Monday is when the dates become available). This is a very popular campground and it will fill up quickly. If you know you are interested I would make reservations as soon as you can. There is a cancellation fee if you end up not being able to go and call to cancel.

We don't get to reserve a specific site- those are first come first serve- so it helps to keep a list of who has reserved a site so we can try to get everyone in the same area like we have done in past years. The reason it has worked out in the past is because we got their early and told them all the names that had booked reservations- then they let us have the sites together. It is a crazy procedure in real life- but we will do our best. Please email me once you have your reservations so I can keep a list.

March Girls Night Out

Girls Night Out is going to be at my house March 4th. I'm going to make Tortilla Soup and have bread and salad. If anyone wants to bring anything else, you're welcome to. Also, if anyone has any games they want to play we can do that too (although, I don't think we've played games since Amy left! ). I'm open to ideas. Thanks! Mandy

My four year old just dug up some candy canes I must have missed. Leave it to the four year old to know where the candy is.

Candy canes?

Does anybody have any extra candy canes (the regular size -- not the minis) leftover from Christmas, or know where I could buy some before Saturday? I threw mine out, but now need at least 10 for a birthday party.

maternity dress

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a fashion 911. I have a wedding to go to this Saturday and was wondering if anyone had a MATERNITY dress I could borrow. The wedding is optional black tie so Scott's wearing a suit. I have one black dress that I have worn to every single formal event for every single pregnancy. At 9 months along, I just don't want to buy a dress that I will never use again. So if you can help a fat girl out, let me know! haha

CRAFTING

Dear Everyone,

Kristina Allred and I have been crafting like crazy and having a blast!!!  I don't know why exactly--just got in the mood before Christmas and it never went away.  I am going to post some pictures of what we have been doing and if anyone wants to make some--let me know.  The things we have been making are for Valentine's, Easter, Fourth of July, etc.  Each item uses both the back and the front.  Some of you have seen the crafts at my house or Kristina's.  I am also including a picture of 2 things Jessica Brunson made which we can make also.  (One of them is a Halloween item but has endless applications!!!)  I will get the wood and cut it, you would need to get the paper and embellishments you want (I'm happy to help with any of that, too), so the cost will be pretty minimal.  (Those of you who went to GNO saw what Kristina made--too cute!!--we can do anything like that also.)  Some of the pictures I took with photo booth and are a little washed out--you are welcome to see them at my house.  With one the front is the XOXO and the back are the STARS.  The other XOXO has the back as the EGGS.
