Summer Swimming

Jessica and I have been talking about doing the pool days again this summer.  We need to know if you are interested and what day works best.  The pool days will be once a week all summer break.

We need to choose between Wed. or Thurs. for the weekly pool day.  (Can't do it on Friday this Summer.)  So please vote by either emailing Dawn at davedawncade@msn.com or commenting here. 

The first pool day will be the week after school gets out and continue until the first week in August--begins either June 17 or 18 and ends either August 5 or 6. (Depending on our vote)

We are in need of help!

As many of you know we are still trying to rent out our house. There are still a few things that need to be done. If anyone is available to help us out, it would greatly be appreciated. There is some easy basic cleaning to be done, since nobody has lived there for a while, plus our bedroom needs to be repainted, and we have some trash in the garage that needs to get put in the trash. We have many people recently that are interested in the house, and would like to rent it very soon, and since we can't make it down there to do this, we are asking anyone who might be willing to help us out. Hollywood Bowl Summer Sounds for Kids

The Hollywood Bowl Summer Sounds for Kids tickets go on sell tomorrow, Tuesday April 21. For the last few summers a bunch of us have bought tickets and had a great time. There are three shows. The stops this summer are Brazil, Mexico, and India. We'll have a "cultural day" at the park on the Monday before the show- with a potluck of food from the featured country and a story or guest.

Group Rate tickets are $3 for the outdoor art studio (where they do a craft related to the country the performance is from)- you only need tickets for your children for this. Tickets for the performance are $5 each (all ages)- mom needs one too.

The dates we would like to go are Tuesdays 7/7, 7/21/, and 8/4- 10:00 for the art studio, 11:15 for the show. If you are interested in going this year to those same day performances, let me know today or tomorrow and we can try to get together group tickets again (it takes a few dollars off the price- it was well worth it last year!). In past years the tickets sell out quickly.

Swimming on Monday

The weather on Monday is suppose to be anywhere from 90-94 depending on the website. So I was thinking it would be fun to go swimming. Anyone up for it or have a favorite place to go?

We received emails about the Tea Party movement from both Senator George Runner and Tony Perkins who heads a family organization dedicated to protecting marriage laws, abortion laws, and the constitution in general.

Stroller Advice

Since I am going to be having 2 little rugrats soon, I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what kind of stroller to get.  Should I get a double side by side, a front and back, a sit and stand......so many!!!  Let me know if you have experience with any of these and which you prefer.  Thanks!

Baby?

I know yesterday was Julie's due date. Does anyone know if she has had the baby yet?

Booster Seat & Double Stroller

My sister-in-law is coming to visit April 23-26. She has 3 kids: 2 1/2, 4 1/2 & almost 6. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has an extra booster seat we could borrow for those days so she doesn't have to bring everything through the airport by herself. Also, if anyone has a double stroller we could use for those dates that would be great too. We are going to Disneyland and Sea World if anyone wants to join us. THANKS!
