Hey everyone,

I've changed Crafter's Corner to D-Day (DeeDee's Designs).  Everything is pretty much the same--you will sign up, pay me, and come to my house (mostly) to make whatever it is.  Trisha convinced me to put it all on a blog so everyone can see and sign up in comments.  It was fun and trying to make this site as I felt very blog-challenged.  I think everything is OK, but when I checked the post I just did, the writing is a little messed up (I guess you can't use the tab button)--Sorry.  

Anyway,  we are going to make a family memory game--it is so cute.  Just go to www.deedeesdesigns.blogspot.com and look at what is there.  If you are interested in making it, (all the details of money, payment, time, what you have to do, etc. are on the blog including pictures) just go into comments and sign up.  

Hopefully, we will do something every other month or so.  I'm looking into making a chore chart in the next couple of months.  Let's have some fun!

We have a few minor repairs we need done at our house. We would much rather pay someone we know and trust than a total stranger. So if your husband or anyone else you know can repair the following and could use a little extra money, please let us know!

1. Broken dryer (it will not heat up anymore, other than that it works fine)
2. Leaky shower

Americans United for Life Action has just made me aware of an effort to pass FOCA one step at a time through the Congressional appropriations process.

They let me contact my Member of Congress and encourage him/her to sign onto a letter going to Speaker Nancy Pelosi encouraging her that all pro-life provisions in the federal budget remain in place.

You can do so too at AUL Action's website, http://action.aul.org/site/Advocacy?pagename=homepage&id=133. But hurry! The deadline for Members of Congress to sign on is this Friday, February 13.
