CAMDEN GUSTAFSON is Here!!!

Hi Everyone!    It's Laci (Dana's sister).  Dana asked me to post a few pictures of Camden.  Her water broke last night and she had him this morning at 6:32 a.m.  Everyone is doing great, just tired!!  Dana did such an amazing job delivering.  It was her first time going into labor naturally (she was always induced before) and her first time with NO PAIN MEDICATION or epidural!  She did such a great job!  Here are a few pictures!!

BIRTHDAY BOARD CRAFT DAY COMING!!

Hey Everyone!!
I know it has been awhile but I'm back with a new, fun craft. Suzanne Christensen found a Birthday Board on a blog and asked if we could make it--I said sure! It took us some time but we finally got it just the way we wanted it!!
There are actually 2 separate Birthday crafts you can choose--do one or the other or both!!
1. I'm not sure how the pictures will appear on your email but the first series is theBIRTHDAY BOARD--it is 14" wide by 17" tall. It comes with the following: cut in the dome shape, routed, painted, sanded and glazed (if you want to). The first area has a wood drawer pull at the top which will hold a rectangular wood piece with names of family members on front and back. Each board comes with 1 name piece, all additional names (2 per piece) are $1. The second area is the countdown to birthday--"Days until my Birthday"--each board comes with a week's countdown (numbers 1-7). The final section at the bottom is the "Let's Celebrate" area--this is for you to use for your family's traditions. (In our family we choose the desert and the dinner on the day of our birthday and an activity--party, movie, etc. Suzanne puts pictures of her kids from birth to the age they are turning and they talk about the different, uniques aspects of that child/person.)

Then there is a back--you turn the board over on the day of the birthday and it says "It's my Birthday" with their name hanging on the second wooden knob.

Each board is $20 (includes one wood piece for 2 names--each additional wood piece is $1). I'm showing it to you in green but you are welcome to do it in red or blue (for those of you who did the birthday cake signs a few years ago--I can match the color you did the cake part--this is that green). If you want a color other than the green shown or a deep barn red or light blue--let me know and we will talk about it.
2. The second craft is a BIRTHDAY CARD/PICTURE HOLDER--it is 18" long by 31/4" tall. It comes just the way you see it--Happy Birthday and the number for the age the person is turning. You get the wood, paper, sanding, staining, printing, wire, bull clip, and numbers (you get 2 sets of 0-9 and a ? for those who, like Dave, don't want anyone to know their age--whatever!! :)
The Birthday Card Holder is $12--There is a back you can add but I don't have a picture. You can see mine if you are interested--it is an additional $4 dollars.
3. If you would like to participate in the BIRTHDAY BOARD CRAFT DAY just reply to this email with the following information:
A. What you want to make and how many.
B. If ordering the Birthday Board--the color of the board and
the names for each name wood piece that hangs on the top handle.
4. I need all the money paid by Thurs. Feb. 3--I'll need a couple of weekends to get everything cut and painted. You can pay by check or cash--if check, make it out to Dawn Damron.
5. CRAFT DAYS--I will hold the craft day at my house on the following days:
A. Wed. morning, Feb. 15 from 8:30am--12:30pm.
B. Thurs. morning Feb. 16 from 8:30am--12:30pm and
C. Thurs. night Feb. 16 from 8:45pm--midnight.
FINAL NOTES: 1. If those dates don't work out for you--just call/email me and we will work out another time.
2. If you want me to make it for you, I'm more than happy to--the board will cost $30 and the card holder will be $20.
Thanks everyone--can't wait to craft with you!!!!

Lost Dog- Patch

My sister Laci lives in Rancho in the neighborhood off Banyan and Wardman Bullock.  Her best friend and neighbor, Emily, has lost her beloved family dog, Patch.  I was asked to post here because a bunch of you mamas drive by their neighborhood when you're dropping your kiddos off at Etiwanda Colony.  Please keep your eyes open for this sweet dog.  Here is an excerpt from an email I received...
  Emily writes...

Please help!! Our dog got out of our yard late Tuesday night. We haven't found him yet. He is an English Bulldog mix, all white, apx 45 lbs, has black lines around his eyes like eyeliner and light brown/tan patches around his right eye and tail. He is sick and needs medication so we need to find him soon. Please keep an eye out for him in Rancho and call us if you have any info. 909-714-4302. We miss him so much!

Thanks girls!
